1. Who we are.
Goodkin is a small social network organized into communities (“villages”). By using Goodkin you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account.
You must be 13 or older to create an account. You're responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. We can suspend an account if it's used to harm others or break these terms.
3. Content you post.
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Goodkin a non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and surface your content within the product (including in feeds, search, and community pages) for as long as it remains posted. You can delete your content at any time.
4. The kindness rule.
The community decides what stays. Posts that accumulate enough trusted flags relative to lifts may be quietly muted (“shadowbanned”) for a period. This is automatic and proportional. Repeated patterns can lead to longer mutes. You will always be told what happened and when it lifts.
5. What you cannot do.
Don't use Goodkin to harass, threaten, dox, or sexually exploit others; spread medical/safety misinformation; impersonate; spam; scrape at scale; or work around moderation. We may remove content or accounts that do these.
6. Communities you found.
If you create a community, you agree to set rules in line with these terms and to act in good faith as a steward. Goodkin can remove or re-assign a community whose moderation breaches these terms.
7. Ads.
Ads on Goodkin follow a separate Ad Policy. We don't sell user-level data to advertisers.
8. Changes.
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we'll give notice in the product. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
9. Disclaimer.
Goodkin is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
