Terms of Service

Goodkin (“Goodkin”, “we”) is operated by Ajolla Inc., 802 Four Seasons Blvd, Aurora, IL 60504, United States. Goodkin is an AI search engine that helps adults find other people, local businesses, professionals and groups. By creating an account or using Goodkin you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community rules and our Refund & cancellation policy.

Goodkin is in public beta. Features may change, break or be removed. Plans and features may change during the beta; we’ll tell you before anything you pay for changes.

You must be 18 or older to use Goodkin. We ask for your birth year at sign-up and turn away anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it. Goodkin may not be used to find, contact or meet anyone under 18.

Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and use one account per person. You’re responsible for activity on your account. Businesses that claim a page must be authorized to act for that business.

Goodkin uses AI models to understand your searches, search the web, rank matches and keep people safe. Ranking and safety checks run on Jev from TypeSafe AI; conversation, translation and web answers come from third-party language models accessed through the Vercel AI Gateway. Matches, match percentages and “why you might get along” notes are suggestions based on what people chose to share. They are not guarantees of compatibility, safety, identity, licensing or quality. Use your own judgment, meet in public, and verify licenses and credentials before hiring anyone.

AI results can be wrong or out of date. Web results and public-source business pages link to their sources; we don’t control those sites.

You keep ownership of what you add (profile details, intents, context, messages, reviews). You give us a license to host, process, translate and display it to operate Goodkin, including using it to match you with others according to your privacy settings. You can delete it at any time from Safety & privacy. Don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share, and don’t add other people’s private information.

Nobody can message you until you accept their intro. Messages may be automatically screened for scams, harassment, threats and, in chat-first mode, contact details, and may be held or reviewed by our trust and safety team. Messages may be translated automatically. Never send money to someone you haven’t met.

Goodkin may show businesses, and people acting in a public professional or community role, based on public sources, with the source of each fact. We never build profiles of private individuals. Anyone can ask us to correct or remove information at goodkin.app/removal. When you ask Goodkin to reach out to someone who isn’t on Goodkin, we contact them only through their public business or work contact.

Search is free. Plus ($9/ month) and Pro ($29/ month) are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Billed monthly in USD. Renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Taxes may apply. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Refunds are described in our Refund & cancellation policy. Goodkin never sees or stores your full card number. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period and you can cancel before they take effect.

Follow the Community rules. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break them, harm others, scrape Goodkin, or misuse search to track, harass or discriminate against people.

Goodkin is provided “as is”. We don’t run background checks unless a badge says so, and we aren’t responsible for how people or businesses you meet through Goodkin behave. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

You can delete your account at any time from Safety & privacy; any paid plan is cancelled first. We may close accounts that break these Terms, and we’ll tell you why unless doing so would put someone at risk.
